From the gondolas of Venice to the vineyards of Verona, to the fashion of Milan, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the art galleries of Florence, the historic Colosseum and Pantheon of Imperial Rome, the Vatican and heritage of Christian Rome to the tragedy of Pompeii, the pizza of Naples, and the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. DAY 1
Depart your city of origin and prepare to enjoy the trip of a lifetime! You will be met and greeted at the Venice airport by an official representative to escort your group to your tour bus. There you will meet your guide that will be with you for the duration of your time in Italy.
DAY 2
Arrive in Venice and transfer to your hotel via a private water taxi. Enjoy free time to sightsee and shop and have dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3
Enjoy your tour of Venice seeing St. Mark's Basilica, San Marco Campanile, the Doges' Palace and Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Square, and the Ponte De Rialto. Enjoy a gondola canal ride and an excursian to Murano Island to see the glass blowing displays.
DAY 4
Enjoy the morning in Lake Guarda in Sirmione before driving to Verona where you will walk across the Ponte di Castelvecchio, stop at the Porta Borsari and Arena Di Verona. Transfer to Fedaelli de Zinis Vineyard for a tour of a vineyard and dinner.
DAY 5
Drive to the fashion capital of Milan. Enjoy iconic Italian shopping and take in the sites including Duomo, Sforzesco Castle, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
DAY 6
Drive to Levanto and enjoy the spectacular colorful homes built on a cliff. Cinque Terre is unforgettable. The afternoon drive will take you to Pisa where you will enjoy a climb up the leaning tower. End your day with a drive to Florence.
DAY 7
Your day in Florence will offer spectacular views of Ulffizi Palace and Gallery, the Duomo Cathedral, Giato Campanile, the Baptistery of St. John, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Michelangelo, and San Miniator.
DAY 8
Drive to spectacular Rome and visit the Colosseum, Palatine, Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.
DAY 9
Today you will visit the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Walk through the Catacombs and see Tre Fontaine Abbey where Peter's martyrdom is remembered.
DAY 10
Today you will walk along the incredible archeological remains of Pompeii. See the excavations and then drive to Naples to see the Flavian Amphitheater, Solfatara, and Phlegrean Field.
DAY 11
Today you will enjoy the spectacular Amalfi Coast. Tour piazzas and old Roman street. Enjoy the coastal views and visit Positano or Ravello by the sea.
DAY 12
Fly home with the unforgettable memories of your time in Italy.
